Sets

Not all games are created equal. Some are great as ice breakers and some are better played when your entire game night is more lit. These sets help you create the best mix for your game night by identifying similarities between games. Think of it like a Dj, even if you like a genre you won’t want to hear the same songs over and over so select 1 or 2 from each set to create your fun. If you like or dislike a game you can also use this as a guide to get similar games in the future. Pro Tip – ANY game is a drinking game, just add mandatory shots every time a point is lost!

Choose 1 from each set.

Simple & Classic

These games can be laid out on the floor or on coffee tables and individuals can participate naturally. We like them because it works when music is playing and you need something that will hold individuals attention without the need for a host. These work well when people do not know each other as well.

Scale each game to the size of your lime so Giant Jenga can work for limes of 5 people right up to 500 people however UNO is better played in groups of 5-10.

Group Icebreakers

Yes, all games can potentially break the ice but these make it very easy for new players to enter and it usually contains choices allowing players to opt out. Opting out leads to drinking most times so you get an even balance between finding out new information and lowering the inhibitions of your guests.

Funny & Exciting

For some of these, each round a player asks a question and everyone answers with their funniest card. The key here is to impress the person asking the question!

Match and pass type card games can be equally exciting but less subjective. These games will have you shouting out words like Goat or Taco! Careful, you may get hit by a burrito.

Pro Tips: Go to Youtube to watch a video of how to play the game (search how to play <Game Name>) . Keep in mind how many cards or points one needs to win otherwise the games can get a bit long winded.

Share the Stage

By now – everyone should know each other well enough to team up! Divide the entire lime into two teams and let us go! Grab a microphone if you have one or just use your outside voice. These games allow for maximum interaction and encourage quick wits. Be villigilant to ensure no cheating and stack up some points!

Pro Tip. Have someone writing points down because you will probably lose count.

Wild & Boozy

These games are why everyone came tonight. To reduce individuals chickening out of penalties and dares it is best to play the games in this selection last as a grand finale. If we can take only ONE game somewhere, it would be one of these. These are also not for the faint of heart so it will be best if all participants are prepared prior to starting that this is the ‘wild’ part of the night.

WIG Top Picks:

  • Do or Drink
  • Fear Pong
  • Whatever
  • King’s Cup
  • Ultimate Twister
  • Loaded questions (2-3 couples)
